Ball
2003 ... 2005 ... 2007
Report from the Tiny
Tickers Ball, 2007
Report from the Tiny
Tickers Ball, 2005
We would like to thank everyone who attended the
last Ball on Saturday 8th October
2005
for making it a very special night, and helping the charity to continue
its vital
work.
Black Tie and Sparkle!
The theme for this year was Black Tie and Sparkle with elegant and
sophisticated gentlemen and sequinned and dazzling ladies.
The evening started with a Champagne
Reception with fabulous prizes from the top Italian designer, Gucci.
This was followed by a delicious three
course meal with wine and short and moving speeches
from Kate,
the Chair of Tiny Tickers, and Catriona, our incredibly hard-working Event
Organiser.
Amazing Prizes
There were an amazing array of prizes for auction and raffle,
generously
donated by companies and individuals, who made this event both very
special
and very successful.
This was only surpassed by the generosity and good
nature of all the guests, who
have given the charity a tremendous boost and obviously enjoyed the
night.
Celebrities and Stars!
Celebrities included rugby commentator Ian Robertson who
was our auctioneer and
celebrity chef
Gino D'Acampo, who auctioned himself to prepare a special dinner
in your own home.
Later on, we were visited by the stars of the musical Mary Poppins, who came straight
from the
theatre
to be with us and met the lucky winners of their auction prize.
Music
and Dance!
Music from top London band "What Next" and
international DJ Mark Fellowes, kept
everyone dancing from about 11pm until
carriages at
2am.
Our Silent Auction featured some unique and interesting prizes and
a Vodka Luge complemented the
evening's entertainment.
